Federal marshals are reportedly on the hunt for a fugitive they believe has ties to Cam'ron and the Diplomats.
According to the New York Post, Jared Gomes, who authorities claim is a head of a Bloods gang in the Bronx, has been on the run since December 2005after cops and federal agents busted a massive Co-op City crack and gun-selling ring he was involved in.
Gomes is also a lead suspect in a Co-op City shooting and is wanted in connection with a shooting in North Carolina, where a waiter was gunned down at a diner.
The feds say an informer revealed to them that Gomes was spotted at a Harlem event hosted by Cam'ron last summer. The drug dealing past of DipSet member Freeky Zeeky has also been brought up.
When Cam's camp was questioned about their connections to Gomes, a spokesperson for the rapper told the Post that the Dipset boss "has nothing to do with anyone who is a fugitive."
In related news, Dipset affiliate Duke Da God is currently gearing up for the release of his sophomore set, More Than Music Vol. 2. Set to hit shelves on April 24, the album features appearances Cam'ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Hell Rell, 40 Cal, J.R. Writer, Freeky Zeeky and Jha Jha.
