  • Tony Yayo Arrested For Teen Assault, Young Buck Release Distracted

G-Unit member Tony Yayo has been arrested today for allegedly assaulting the 14 year-old son of The Game's manager, Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond. The arrest could be problematic for G-Unit member, Young Buck, who will release his sophomore set on Tuesday.

SOHH broke the Yayo assault story first in its gossip blog "Ya Heard" three days ago. Sources close to Jimmy Rosemond, who has had a contentious relationship with G-Unit for some time, say that on Tuesday (March 20), Rosemond 14-year-old son was walking down the street on his way to the Czar Entertainment offices where he interns after school. Apparently, 50 Cent, Tony Yayo and other members of their entourage were leaving the nearby offices of their representatives, Violator Management, at the same time.

Upon seeing the boy, who had on a Czar t-shirt, several members of the entourage allegedly approached him. The men then allegedly pushed the youth against the wall, asking him why he was wearing the shirt and how old he was. After he answered "14 years old", Yayo allegedly backhanded the boy, saying "I don't give a fuck how old this kid is, fuck Czar Entertainment."

Marvin "Tony Yayo" Bernard has been charged with harrassment and endangering the welfare of a child.

Yayo, a convicted felon, has had numerous recent run-ins with the law. In 2004, he was jailed for six months over possession of a forged passport -- just days after he had been released from prison on a one-year gun possession stint.

All the attention on Yayo could be a problematic distraction for G-Unit member, Young Buck, who is set to release his highly-anticipated sophomore album, Buck The World this Tuesday. In an exclusive video interview with SOHH.com, Buck talks candidly about the DJ attack that allegedly took place when a track by The Game was played at his show.
