Foxy Brown will be avoiding jail time after a Manhattan judge restored her probation in good standing today (June 14).
According to the Associated Press, Judge Melissa Jackson found that Brown had "a positive probation report" and would not have to return to court.
"I'm going to restore you to probation. It was a real struggle to get you on board," she told Brown. "I want to see you finish this sentence and go on to a happy life."
Jackson revealed that over the past two months Brown had kept appointments with her probation officer, gotten permission before leaving the state, passed her drug tests, and attended required anger management classes.
Brown originally faced a year in jail for violating her probation. She is due back in court on September 24 to face charges of battery and obstruction of justice from a seperate incident in Florida.
