  • The Game Pleads Not Guilty To 3 Felony Charges

The Game appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom on Tuesday (September 25), where he pleaded not guilty to three felony charges -- stemming from an incident that took place during a basketball game at a South Los Angeles school in February.

The 27-year-old rapper (real name: Jayceon Taylor) is charged with making criminal threats, possession of a firearm in a school zone and exhibiting a firearm on the grounds of a facility for minors.

He is accused of brandishing a firearm during after an argument took place with a player from an opposing basketball team at the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex on February 24.

According to his accuser, Rodrick Shannon, The Game exchanged words with him, calling his team "garbage" before striking him with a closed fist to the face.

Shannon testified that The Game then went to the parking lot and saw the rapper reach into a Cadillac Escalade and brandish a firearm.

"He started proceeding towards me. The gun was still in his hand. He yelled that I'm a ... fool. I turned around and ran because I feared for my life," Shannon testified.

He was arrested in May for the charges, after police raid his upscale Glendale, California home.

The Game is currently free on $50,000 bail, with a pretrial hearing set for October 30.

If convicted, he could face more than five years in prison.
