Update: Bow Wow Diagnosed W/ Appendix Infection

It was more than just stress and exhaustion that sent rapper Bow Wow to the hospital after a Cincinatti concert last Thursday (Dec. 6).

The symptoms originally thought to be due to Bow Wow's strenuous work schedule and lack of sleep, are actually due to an infection of Bow Wow's appendix, according to a press release.

The 20-year-old rapper is currently on a sold-out tour with R&B superstar Omarion, promoting the duo's Face Off album. He was forced to sit out a Chicago performance due to his illness. But the rapper is expected to return to the stage on Dec. 13 in Memphis, Tenn.

The collabo effort, Face Off, will hit shelves tomorrow (Dec. 11).
