Queensbridge rapper, Tragedy Khadafi, is currently serving a four year jail sentence at Riker's Island after being convicted of a felony drug sales charge.
The 36-year-old rapper (real name: Percy Chapman) was convicted in a New York courtroom last Thursday (December 27) of class C felony for criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, following his arrest during a recent drug bust.
He was sentenced to four years in prison, and according to reports, is likely to serve the full term due to a previous conviction.
Tragedy Khadafi, who has -- in the past -- rapped under the moniker Intelligent Hoodlum, began his hip-hop career as a junior member of the Juice Crew alongside artists such as Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, and MC Shan, in the late 80s.
To date, the rapper has eight solo albums under his belt, his latest being 2007's The Death of Tragedy.
