Kanye West pleaded not guilty last week to charges stemming from his run-in with the paparazzi at LAX in 2008.
The producer/rapper was not present during the arraignment in Los Angeles, but his lawyer was there for him and entered the not guilty plea over assault, theft and vandalism charges.
West was arrested at LAX in September of last year, after he and his road manager had an altercation with a paparazzo who had his cam and accessories snatched and smashed on the floor.
The incident was caught on film by TMZ cameras, who blasted it to the internet.
His road manager, Don Crowley, was also charged on two counts of assault, two counts of theft and two counts of vandalism.
West could face up to two and a half years in jail if convicted, while Crowley could face up to five years in prison.
