Jim Jones pleaded guilty in a New York courtroom on Monday (October 5th) for reportedly assaulting an associate of R&B singer, Ne-Yo. Scott Leemon, the Byrd Gang leaders Lawyer, confirmed the news saying Jones entered his plea to the misdemeanor charge and was sentenced to time served (the few hours he was in custody after turning himself in to police in January).
Back on December 22nd, Jim Jones and Jayvon Smith faced off in front of holiday shoppers at the Fifth Avenue luxury-goods store. Scott Leemon said Jones didn't start the fight but pleaded guilty because he didn't want to risk probation -- and potential touring restrictions -- if convicted.
"Late for court oh brother here we go shouts to my lawyer tht got it pushed back," Jim Jones wrote Monday on his twitter. "Guilty as charged people not livin right they wanna play the game but they don't wanna get scored on smh."
