Remember Benzino? Well, if you don't he ran The Source with Dave Mays in its heyday, and made headlines years ago his rap beef with Eminem.
He's back with a new beef brewing ... this time with longtime Eminem comrade Royce Da 5'9.
According to HipHopDX, Zino threw some shots the Detroit rapper's way recently on a track called "Break to Build", calling Royce a "bench warmer" and warning him to "watch his mouth."
"I got a percentage of the team, you're a bench warmer," Benzino spits. "How you in the hood without showing your face / These motherf***ers run the town, I'm controlling the state."
Later on, he raps: "Run 'em down, hit 'em up in some traffic / Slap his bitch in the mouth, break up his glasses / Stupid looking n****, really nobody's heard of you / Better watch your moth, Royce. N****s will murder you."
According to the report, Zino laid down the new diss track in response to Royce's "No Coming Back from That," a track set to appear on his next project, Bar Exam 3.
After hearing the diss, Royce took to Twitter (@RoyceDaFive9) with a reply. The rapper told his followers to expect Bar Exam 3 to be "full of drama."
Also featured on Zino's track is Raekwon, but the Wu-Tang vet says he just sent in a verse without knowing it'd be part of a diss track.
"For the record, I wanna say I take no part in nobody's diss song," Rae tweeted (@RaekwonIcewater). "I just sent them a verse that's it. That's between them brothers. Keep me outta it."
