Gucci Mane Drops New Mixtape, 'Writings On The Wall 2', From Behind Bars
Despite throwing a "Welcome Home" party in Atlanta earlier this week, Gucci Mane is still behind bars. However, that's not stopping his hustle.
Despite his incarceration, the Atlanta rapper dropped a brand new mixtape on Tuesday (July 5), titled Writings On The Wall 2, the sequel to his 2009 prison-tape of the same title.
The 19-track tape is hosted by DJ Holiday, and features guest spots from the likes of 50 Cent, Yelawolf, Young Buck, Yo Gotti, YC and Jagged Edge; while production duties were handled by Drumma Boy, Lex Luger, Shawty Redd, Southside, and Zaytoven, among others.
While the mixtape hardly treads new ground, it is the follow-up to the last time Gucci released a mixtape while in prison, declaring he'd never go back to prison -- for fans, any Gucci is better than no Gucci.
The mixtape is out now, and available at MixtapePass.com.
Gucci Mane has been incarcerated since April, after being arrested on a battery charge for assaulting a woman when she allegedly refused his sexual proposition. He is still awaiting release from Fulton County Jail, due to "procedural holdups," according to his lawyer Ashutosh Joshi.
