The Indy Experience.com relays the news that Sir Sean Connery, who played Henry Jones Sr. in The Last Crusade, might not be up for another Indy adventure. The report came from Scotland Today, a television news program, which stated that producers for Indy IV were having to work around the Connery's likely absence. He was originally part of the story but is now supposedly being written out.
The same source additionally states that Connery is considering retirement, a plausible reason for dropping the highly anticipated adventure film. The dashing former Bond actor is 73, after all. Connery also recently backed out of Josiah's Canon, a movie about a Swiss bank heist set to go into production soon.
