According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ghost Rider will face-off against "Captain America" himself, Easy Rider's Peter Fonda, in the Marvel movie written and directed by Mark Steven Johnson.
Fonda will portray the villainous Mephistopheles. Fonda's credits include The Limey, Escape From L.A. and Ulee's Gold.
Also joining the cast of Ghost Rider is Blade veteran Donal Logue as Mack, "chief mechanic and best friend" of title character Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage).
Logue's other credits include The Patriot, Anerican Splendor, Comic Book Villains and the TV series Grounded for Life.
Ghost Rider will film in Melbourne, Australia for a 2005 release. Eva Mendes, Wes Bentley, Sam Elliott and Matt Long co-star.
