Unreleased "Chappelle's Show" To Hit The Small Screen
Dave Chappelle is headed back to Comedy Central, and so is "Chapelle's Show"... sort of. The network announced today that it would premiere the unaired third season episodes of the critically-acclaimed sketch comedy show next year.
For fans who just can't wait that long, Comedy Central will offer a sneak peek by airing exclusive footage from third season sketches during its "Comedy Central Last Laugh '05" year-in-review show, which premieres December 11 at 9pm.
Chappelle had taped several sketches earlier this year before he cancelled taping for the season and walked out on the two-year deal he had just signed with the network. The comedian later popped up in South Africa saying he was "overwhelmed" by the pressure.
The network has not yet decided if the new Chappelle episodes will run during the show's most recent time slot on Comedy's schedule, Tuesdays at 10 pm.
