  • Colin Farrell Sex Tape Leaks Onto the Internet

The sex tape Colin Farrell tried to ban has leaked onto the internet. Website DirtyColin.com claims they have the exclusive sex video featuring the actor and his ex, former Playboy model Nicole Narain.

The Irish star took Narain to court last year in a bid to keep the sexploits from prying eyes. But in a posting on the website, DirtyColin.com states, "Colin tried to stop us from showing you this... Well, here it is anyway." The home page features still shots of people they claim are Farrell and Narain making love. The couple made a 15-minute sex tape three years ago, and agreed to keep the footage for private use only. Farrell sued Narain and porn website marketing director Paul Nash, claiming his career and public image would be irreparably damaged if the video got out.

A judge issued a temporary restraining order to prevent the actor's ex-girlfriend from marketing the tape in August.

Colin Farrell Sex Tape Shut Down on Web

An Internet site called dirtycolin.com, purporting to offer access to Colin Farrell's 15-minute sex tape with former girlfriend Nicole Narain, was shut down Tuesday for what the actor's publicist called a violation of a court order blocking the explicit video's release.

"A Web site attempting to distribute an unauthorized tape of Colin Farrell was shut down today. Mr. Farrell will take legal action against anyone who tries to distribute this tape," the Dublin-born actor's rep, Danica Smith. The spokeswoman did not say who was behind the site.

In addition to Farrell's camp, Narain's lawyers also sought to shut down the site. Access to dirtycolin.com was available for about 2 1/2 hours, and the charge to view the tape was $14.95. Downloading the video, however, was said to be difficult, if not outright impossible, even before the shutdown.

Still, while the site could no longer be accessed, at least one other Website – Idontlikeyouinthatway.com – was still featuring screen shots from the notorious tape, the Associated Press reports. As was stated on Idontlikeyouinthatway.com alongside the photos: "Colin tried to stop us from showing you this. Well, here it is anyways."

Last year, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge issued an order temporarily barring the sale, distribution or display of the tape, and Farrell, 29, sued Narain, accusing her of trying to distribute the tape through an intermediary. Farrell had argued that the video, which he said was made more than two years ago and was never intended to go public, would damage his career, if released.

Also named in Farrell's suit was David Hans Schmidt, described by the Los Angeles Times as a Phoenix-based agent and celebrity porn broker. On Tuesday, the newspaper reports, Schmidt denied any involvement in the tape's distribution.

A lawyer for Narain – Playboy's Miss January 2002 – has said his client never tried to profit from the tape.

Last month, Farrell, who built up his own off-screen reputation for hard living, entered an undisclosed treatment facility for exhaustion and dependency on prescription medication related to a back injury, his publicist announced.

Farrell's latest movie, A New World, opened on Christmas Day. He recently wrapped up filming on Miami Vice.
