Socialite Paris Hilton has been ordered to stay away from a Los Angeles events planner by the courts, after harassing him with racial slurs and threatening phone calls.
The blonde hotel heiress was slapped with a restraining order in Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday, after complaints from promoter Brian Quintana that she'd branded him a "lazy Mexican" and was ruining his business. Quintana, who allegedly introduced Hilton to her current boyfriend Stavros Niarchos, claimed to be the victim of a smear campaign. He told the court a jealous Hilton was paranoid he was trying to persuade pal Niarchos to ditch her in favor of former girlfriend Mary-Kate Olsen.
Hilton was absent during the hearing but her spokesman Elliot Mintz said afterwards, "I've known Paris and worked with her, and the kind of person that was described on the stand this afternoon doesn't resemble the woman that I know." Details of the order are still unknown.
