Michele Bachmann just became the first GOP presidential candidate to pledge to ban all forms of pornography if elected President in 2012.
Bachmann signed the promise in order to secure the endorsement of Vander Plaats, an influential conservative activist who is the CEO of The Family Leader. Plaats is asking candidates who want his blessing to sign a 14-point document that targets homosexuality, Sharia Law, and porn.
Several of the vows target gays, but bullet point No. 9 seems aimed squarely at happy heterosexuals:
The U.S. Supreme Court has issued numerous rulings upholding that just about every kind of pornography imaginable is protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution, the very document that the Tea Party and its Queen hold so sacred.
We await Bachmann's further utterance in the hope she's more specific than "I know it when I see it."

Human protection of women and the innocent fruit of conjugal intimacy -- our next generation of American children -- from human trafficking, sexual slavery, seduction into promiscuity, and all forms of pornography and prostitution, infanticide, abortion and other types of stolen innocence.
That's a lot to unpack! But you can bet that it involves closing strip clubs, adult book stores, adult advertising, X-rated movies, birth control pills, pre-marital sex, and probably heavy petting. The U.S. Supreme Court has issued numerous rulings upholding that just about every kind of pornography imaginable is protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution, the very document that the Tea Party and its Queen hold so sacred.
