First off... hello from Croatia, lol, these people are soft here. There is like 0 violent crimes, and everybody looks at me crazy cause i wear baseball hats with flat bills... I'm here until Feb. 1st and it looks like theres hardly any hip hop, but some... I talked to some girls that were telling me of a club that plays a lot of hip hop, and that it wasn't known yet but is coming up. All the entertainment music wise is all american, and my first night here I went back with a bartender to their friends for a few hash joints mixed with some silver haze from amsterdam I don't know how I feel for the neighborhood, there's a few people who speak english, but it seems pretty uppity high class. I'm not payin for it so i guess it's all good. I'm stayin on top the city of Zagreb.... it's the capital of Croatia... literally on top, well almost, i can walk out the front door and go about 50 steps to overlook the entire city... but there is still a couple blocks behind me until the city buildings stop and some residential/embassies start popping up... and some park that's huge with a castle back in there somewhere.
On a good note, there are a lot of hot ass women in this city and being american gives you an unbelieveable advantage over all competition.... and they know american lifestyles and what a guy expects, so shits cool.
I haven't been able to find an american speaking person to register with the local police in town, so as of yet, i'm illegal, but i did register with the US embassy... the bus pass costs like 270kn that's about 45-50 bucks a month... *kiss my ass* I'll just hop on trams and hop off when I like, when they ask me for my pass I know where the button for the door is and i've used it already once, key is to have your hood up everytime you get on... no face to remember.... anyways, so far it's been fun but I need to either learn more of the language or else find some damn american speakin bastards to hang out with, cause it SUCKS when you got these sexy chicks yellin stuff at you wherever you go and you have no clue what they're saying. ... anyways, i'll keep ya peeps informed as to if anything crazy pops off. Actually Mcbain, there aren't many black people in Croatia, real minimum here in the capital anyways, it's about as rare as findin white people in Compton... anyways, I did hit on this black chick that was sittin down talkin to some white croatian dude... he was pissed, but i figured she had to know english at least.. she looked american dressed and body language. I left her with a number and dude's face looked like he was going to explode, i kept waitin for him to swing on me... I guess it takes a lot here to get people to go violent, but it's vacation so i'll avoid it unless it's a must. I been walkin around the grimy part of town the last couple of days and I found a lot of kids into hip hop down there. One kid had me beat on dress with his NY fitted with a bandana underneath of it... Back from Venice, well have been for about 4 days now.. but it was where I left off. It was a pretty sweet city, I had enough time to visit about all I wanted to in the few days I was there... I slept with some chick who looked like she could be anywhere between 27 and 35... It wasn't too touristy around early December but there were plenty of people. I heard the smell is really bad in warm weather anyways.. so i'm glad I missed out on that.
So anyways, back in Zagreb, and today I was cornered by 3 civilian dressed police officers who asked me mass questions and then told me to have a good day, and the whole time I'm thinkin 'fuckin a, here it comes, i'm gonna get searched and go to a turkish prison for havin hash and marijuana' ... then this evening i spent a couple hours with my lovely lady friend Ivana.. then hopped on the tram to go back to her place, and 2 stops later 3 civilian dressed police officers start checkin for tram passes !fuck! ... so luckily I bought my month pass 2 days ago but Ivana wasn't so fortunate, she got hauled off down to the station and told me to just head home, because I didn't need to be going into a police station tonite... I'm thinkin god damn, twice in a day and they fucked up my fuck for the night.... Assholes
