ok say there was a hole stright threw the earth right, like from here to china or whatever. if u dropped a rock down it what would happen. because it wouldnt go right threw because as soon as it reached the second half gravity would push it back towards our half. so would it jus float in the middle or what because it wouldnt be able to surface on either side because gravity would always be pushing it down.....just a little philisophical shit i thought up ta make ya think

i think that the molten lava in the core would make it impossible for you to dig a hole that would stay open....and the heat of the earth would probably melt the rock....but if you COULD throw a rock down there then umm...maybe it would float...i'm not sure...now my brain hurts
