Sexy ex-Jets sideline reporter Jenn Sterger finally met with NFL investigators today to spill the beans about how superstar quarterback Brett Favre tried to land her in the sack with sleazy voicemails and text messages, The Post has learned.
Sterger's sitdown with NFL probers -- which came after more than weeks of uncertainty about whether she would agree to that interview -- greatly ratchets up the chances that Favre will disciplined by the league for the purported misconduct, which allegedly occurred when he was playing for the Jets in 2008.
Sterger, 26, met for several hours with NFL security chief Milt Ahlerich and another league investigator at an undisclosed location in Manhattan. She was accompanied by her lawyer, Joseph Conway, and her manager, Phil Reese.
"We can confirm that a meeting took place with the NFL today and we cooperated fully by providing them with substantial materials in our possession," Reese told The Post after the sitdown.
"We now await the NFL's decision."
Favre, 41, on Oct. 19 met with Ahlerich, who is leading the explosive probe.
According to FOX Sports, Favre admitted that day to leaving bumbling voicemails asking the buxom brunette Sterger to meet up with him.
But the married Favre denied texting photos of a penis to Sterger's phone, FOX reported.
However, Deadspin.com, the sports website that broke the story about Favre's forward passes to Sterger by publishing the voicemails, photos and other electronic messages, had noted that both the voicemail and texted penis photos originated from the same phone number.
Sterger's meeting today with NFL investigators had been expected for more than a week after her lawyer, Conway, said the stunner likely would sit down for an interview.
However, her manager Reese had been saying that the curvy Playboy and Maxim model had yet to make a definitive decision on whether to follow through on that plan.
One holdup was efforts by Sterger's team to identify who on the Jets gave her phone number to Favre.
Favre, who now plays for the struggling Minnesota Vikings, could face suspension or fines if the NFL finds he violated the league's personal conduct policy.
In one voicemail from 2008, Favre suggested that Sterger meet him in his hotel room.
"Just done with practice, got meetings here for a couple of more hours, then I'm going back to the hotel to just chill," Favre drawled. "So send me a text. So I'll be in the building for a couple of hours ... Send me a text, I'd love to see you tonight."
Another voice message apparently referred to Sterger telling a Jets exec she wouldn't date a high-profile athlete such as Favre because she "might end up in a garbage can."
"So, in some garbage can, huh? That's what you think I think of ya?" Favre said. "Hmm, all right, I'm still trying. Just got done practice. I'll try the other phone. If you could make it, it'd be great. All right, later."
The Post reported last month that nearly a year after leaving those messages -- after both Favre and Sterger had left the Jets -- Favre again called Sterger.
A married massage therapist who did work for the Jets during training camp in 2008 also has told The Post that Favre contacted her during training camp, trying to get her and a fellow massage therapist to meet him. Those women's names have been turned over to the NFL, but it is not know if the league spoke to either woman.
Sterger, who acted as a game-day hostess for the Jets, more recently hosted the TV show "The Daily Line" for the Versus cable network. But the show was cancelled last week.
