  • Dana White denies any possible UFC fight between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley Continue reading on

On Friday, UFC President Dana White spoke out about a rumored fight between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley. White was making an appearance on ESPN's 'SportsCenter' to promote Saturday's UFC 130 PPV event. When asked about a possible fight between Lesnar and Lashley, a pleasantly stunned Dana White laughed before giving a thoughtful answer. According to ESPN.com, White made the following comments:

"Bobby Lashley, I don't even think he's still doing it (MMA) is he?" Dana White said while laughing. "Bobby Lashley really never made it to the level that Brock Lesnar did. If you're a WWE fan, you'd like Brock Lesnar. When Brock gets over this illness, he's going to be fighting the best fighters in the world. The guy's done some amazing things in a very short time."

Brock was forced to pull out of UFC 131 due to another episode of diverticulitis. A few months ago, Brock noticed some symptoms and eventually got examined by The Mayo Clinic. Doctors confirmed that he was suffering from another bout of diverticulitis and might need surgery.

Lesnar was an all-American collegiate wrestler and worked for the WWE from 2000 to 2004. Bobby Lashley came into the WWE, after Lesnar had left, and also boasted a decorated collegiate wrestling career. Lashley got into MMA in 2009 and eventually landed in Strikeforce where he went 1-1 before being released. Bobby signed with Titan Fighting Championship in February 2011 and won his first fight for the promotion in late March 2011 via Unanimous decision.
