Boxer Floyd Mayweather, JR. has pledged to cover the funeral costs for fight icon Joe Frazier, who lost his battle with cancer on Monday (07Nov11)
The unbeaten world welterweight champion has reached out to Frazier's family after hearing the sad news and offered to help them give the heavyweight a fitting send-off.
In a tweet, Mayweather, Jr. writes, "My condolences go out to the family of the late great Joe Frazier. #TheMoneyTeam will pay for his Funeral services."
It's not the first time Mayweather has offered to cover a boxer's funeral costs - he paid for his one-time opponent Genaro Hernandez's farewell earlier this year (11).
