TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Free agent running back Charlie Garner signed Tuesday with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who also added veteran offensive lineman Matt O'Dwyer and linebacker Keith Burns.
The 32-year-old Garner, who had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee last week, has played 10 NFL seasons for Philadelphia, San Francisco and Oakland. He signed a four-year deal worth $10 million.
He's rushed for nearly 7,000 yards, caught more than 400 passes and scored 51 touchdowns as one of the league's top multipurpose backs.
