Denver Broncos defensive back Willie Middlebrooks appeared in court Monday for allegedly fighting with a woman.
Middlebrooks, 25, was arrested Saturday on misdemeanor charges of third-degree assault and harassment and held in county jail. Middlebrooks had not posted the $20,000 bond as of noon Monday, court spokeswoman Lori Rutlege said.
A pretrial conference was set for Feb. 2.
Middlebrooks has not played for the Broncos since a season-ending leg injury against Miami on Dec. 12.
