The two biggest questions facing the Patriots this offseason may be the status of safety Rodney Harrison’s surgically repaired knee and the cornerback position in front of him next season. Harrison provided some answers on both issues yesterday.
On the first topic, Harrison reported more good news, saying he remains on pace for a return next season, although not necessarily for the start of training camp. Harrison is currently working out four days a week at Gillette Stadium for 3-5 hours per session. As for the second big question, the secondary, Harrison steered clear of making a pitch for any course of action. But judging by his feelings for former teammate (and soon to be free agent) Ty Law, it’s not hard to figure Harrison would welcome a player of his caliber next season, not to mention Law himself.
