Michael Vick Had Water Bottle With Secret Compartment At MIA

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick was found Wednesday at Miami International Airport allegedly carrying a water bottle with a hidden compartment, TSA Operations Center Officials said.

Vick was going through the Concourse G screening point to board an AirTran flight when officials said he was reluctant to give up his bottle of water.

Airport officials said that it was a 20 oz. Aquafina bottle and the bottle's label concealed a seam, which separated the top and the bottom of the bottle.

Both ends were sealed by clear partitions and what appeared to be a silicone sealant, TSA supervisors said.

The concealed compartment contained a small amount of a dark particulate and officials describe a pungent aroma closely associated with Marijuana.

Officials said that the lower half of the bottle was almost completely full of a clear liquid and the top half contained a small amount of that same clear liquid.

TSA officials said that when the bottle was held upright, it appeared to be half full of water.

A TSA screener identified the man who was reluctant to give up the bottle as Vick.

Miami-Dade police have received flight reservation confirmation that Vick was on an AirTran flight No. 338 Wednesday to Atlanta.

Vick has not been arrested and the substance found inside the bottle is being analyzed at a Miami-Dade Police Department lab.

The saddest part? The only reason he showed hesitance in passing the bottle to security is he was worried he'd overthrow it.

1) This shows just how stupid this asshole is. TSA rules, while incredibly stupid, are also pretty well publicized. How could he have possibly not known he'd not be allowed to take the water through security? Second, they asked him to toss the bottle and he got into an argument? What a fuckin' moron...dude, you could have tossed it in the trash and avoided any kind of LEO involvement!

2) From a football perspective...does this give Arthur Blank/Bobby Petrino the ammo they need to attempt to invalidate Vick's contract ("morals" clause...between this and the herpes thing) and move on to Matt Schaub as their QB? I suspect part of the reason they've yet to do so was the spectre of bad PR for benching Vick.

3) Jim Mora Sr. - Psychic? The "coach killer" comments now seem even more credible. When he made the comment we knew Vick had issues on the field and was a liar who'd spread STDs. Now we know he's a doper too. I guess Mora knew what he was talking about...too bad he got roundly ripped/derided for saying what he did.
