NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal will have to wait until a later date for his in-court appearance on accusations of stalking an Atlanta female rapper.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Karen Woodson ruled on September 18 that the case between up-and-coming femcee Alexis “Mary Jane” Miller and Shaq has been re-scheduled to an undetermined day.
As previously reported by SOHH, Miller was granted a restraining order against the basketball star last month after claiming he threatened her over the phone and e-mail. The two were allegedly romantically involved before breaking up mid-summer, when she claims he “threatened to ‘blackball’ [her] from the recording industry by paying established artists…$500 each for their agreement to refuse to perform or record with her in the future.”
In addition to verbal threats, Miller has reportedly saved e-mails from the NBA champ threatening her life.
“I dnt no who the fuk u think u dealin wit,” one message read. “u will neva be heard from one phone call is all I gotta make no try me. Sho me.”
A rep for Shaq was unavailable for comment at press time.
As of today the court case has been given a yet-to-be-determined time frame.
