The reason Randy Orton made mention of 'the rumors of him returning' last night on RAW referring to The Rock was because USA Today had published an article yesterday promoting his appearance on the show. "Tonight, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, who in recent years has concentrated on his career as an action star, returns to his wrestling roots on WWE's Raw. Up next for Johnson: the feature films Walking Tall and Be Cool." quoted the article.
Speaking of The Rock, the current plan is for him to do most of his 'talking' on next weeks show. He's expected to get a long in-ring segment on the show explaining why he came back and to further promote his WMXX tag team match.
As we have been reporting, Pete Rose will be at the actual WMXX PPV in a storyline.
As has been reported, everyone with Blade: Trinity and New Line loved Triple H's work in the film. Triple H has been praised by pretty much everyone involved with the movie, and got himself written into more parts in the film due to his good work. At this point, it is expected that he will be getting more movie offers in the future. Triple H's good work has again increased interest in using WWE stars in movies. There is some early talk of using Chris Jericho in the Freddy vs. Jason sequel and there is also some interest in using Eddie Guerrero in movies. Many people will be watching his drawing power as WWE Champion closely to see if putting him in movies is worth it.
