Ric Flair is said to be feeling little discomfort right now other than that three of his fingers are numb. His back is apparently feeling OK but he is having some neck problems.
He will be having dye shot into his spine following WrestleMania XX to determine his exact problems.
The thinking right now is that whatever surgery he will need will be minor and keep him out for only six weeks to two months. Flair has worked through much more pain in the past than he is currently working through. When Flair needs time off, WWE may end up making a storyline out of it.

Both WWE and NWA: TNA have toned down their products considerably over the past few weeks following all the controversy over the Janet Jackson/Super Bowl incident as well as the recent firing of radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge.
WWE has drastically toned down John Cena's language as well as the language used by wrestlers across the board. Cena was mentioned by name by UPN as someone they were concerned about, which has led WWE to water his act down the most.
Viacom (UPN's parent company) is worried that WWE could become a target with the current worries over controversy. With Howard Stern getting kicked off of some markets, it is clear that anybody is a potential target.
TNA is also cutting back on sex and bad language, fearing it will scare off potential investors. TNA has more or less gotten rid of their nearly naked dancers, as well as gotten strict on wrestlers to not use bad language.
