Apparently there was some sort of heated "altercation" between Billy Gunn and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at a hotel where they were both staying. They were staying at the Manhattan Hotel and the incident reportedly took place in the hotel's bar. At this point in time there is no confirmed reason as to why the two of them got into this disagreement. Gunn and Austin have no reported history of problems between eachother.
TNA recently announced a huge new marketing campaign. The suiting campaign title, is called "Wrestling Reinvented." From Dixie Carter, president of TNA Entertainment: "The contest of wrestling has gotten out of hand. In an effort to shock the viewer, storylines in our industry that were once considered obscene are now unfortunately common place. For a period of time now, Total Nonstop Action has made a conscious shift in the content of our shows and will continue to do so. We have distinguished our product from our competitor and provided the pay-per-view buyer with a true alternative." She explained the programming as clean, innovative, cutting edge with high risk and high-flying athleticism.
