Booker T has been telling friends that despite him being satisfied with his current heel push over on SmackDown!, he is still considering retirement sooner than later.
Many backstage within WWE believe that with the current push Booker is getting, it may be enough to keep him around another year or two.
There is also some concern that if Booker's back problems don't improve or if any sort of flair up occurs, that'll be it for Booker.
