The April 12th edition of The National Enquirer features an article on Steve Austin titled "Galpal claims 'Stone Cold' beat her up." The article claims that Austin once beat his live in girlfriend Tess Broussard so badly, she had to flee to a women's shelter.
The tabloid also claims that Austin spun Broussard around by her feet and then let her fly on the night of March 24th (Broussard told police that Austin pushed her down).
The story goes on to say that Austin has been trying to get Broussard out of her life and even offered her $54,000. Trouble had started between the two when Broussard suspected that Austin was cheating on her.
As reported earlier, new problems have come up between WWE management and Austin which seemed to have kept him off of RAW this past Monday (despite the fact that RAW aired from his home state of Texas). WWE management was very upset over Austin's latest domestic incident, especially at a time when the company is getting bad press from other avenues.
