Chris Jericho is expected to go over at Backlash this Sunday in his match with Trish Stratus and Christian. There was some talk of adding another member to Christian's stable thus making Trish look like she's doing two guys now instead of just one.
Shelton Benjamin is expected to go over Flair Sunday at the PPV. Shelton is in for a huge push in the coming months and WWE management feels he has a load of potential.
WWE is going with Victoria & Lita at Backlash meaning two faces will be going head to head for the title. The plan was to have the other women come down thus setting up Victoria & Lita as a tag team with Victoria still champion.
Eugene and La Resistance are expected to be involved in the Tajiri vs. Coach match, Looks like Coach will be managing La Resistance. Tajiri with Eugene will help reunite Tajiri and William Regal which should be fun. So to sum it up, looks like Tajiri/Eugene w/ Regal vs. La Resistance w/ Coach.
The main event at Backlash, if all goes as planned, will be similar to the match at WrestleMania XX. They will be given a lot of time with Benoit probably winning. Also, don't rule out a big HBK heel turn.
Expect the match at Backlash with Randy Orton and Mick Foley to be a bloodbath. These two have been detailing the match for several weeks now and it's expected to have some crazy spots.
The feeling is that the Edge-Kane match may end on a DQ so the two can continue a program. The feeling is that Edge will need to 'earn' the win which will probably come at the next RAW brand PPV.
