Eddie Guerrero is scheduled to appear on Smackdown in non-wrestling roles, but will not be working house shows prior to Summerslam because of his injured hamstring.
Rumors have been floating around regarding Randy Orton and Chris Benoit’s match at the upcoming Summerslam PPV. Rumors state that Randy Orton will in fact defeat Chris Benoit thus becoming the new Heayweight Champion, and then take a babyface turn. The working plan now is for Orton to win the WWE Title and defend it against Triple H at WrestleMania 21, but sources say the plan is for Hunter to be the babyface during that match.
There has also been talk that Edge would be involved in a double-turn with Orton, perhaps as soon as Summerslam. There have been rumors for months now that Edge will turn heel, and some consideration was given to having him feud with Chris Benoit. It's possible that Edge will replace Hunter in Evolution, but it doesn't sound like there was anything to the rumors involving a double-turn with him and Orton.
