    Summer Slam Opener:

    Six Man Tag Team Match
    Referee: Jim Korderas
The Dudley Boyz vs. Rey Mysterio, Paul London and Billy Kidman

As the Dudleys got in the ring, footage of Spike Dudley turning on Rey Mysterio was shown and since then, Spike Dudley has unleashed a new side to himself as he aligned himself with his brothers, the Dudley Boyz.

    The start:

D-Von Dudley started the match off in the ring against Billy Kidman and the two locked it up in the ring and D-Von gave Billy a shot to the mid section and then he backed Billy into the corner and hammered away on him. D-Von whipped Billy to the other side of the ring and Billy hopped over D-Von and pulled him down to the mat with a head scissors.

    Mid-match notes:

D-Von Dudley gave Paul London a body slam and then Spike Dudley came off the top rope with a stomp to the chest. Spike then taunted Rey Mysterio and he tried to get in the ring but the referee restrained him as the crowd started chanting "We want tables!"

Bubba Ray went to hit Paul London but Paul moved out of the way and Bubba hit D-Von to knock him down from the ring apron. Paul started crawling to his corner for the tag but Bubba grabbed him by the foot and then Paul knocked Bubba down and out with an Enziguri. Bubba was able to make the tag to Spike Dudley before Paul could get over to make the tag and Paul nailed Spike and then made the tag to Rey Mysterio.

Billy Kidman planted Spike Dudley with the BK Bomb and a pin but only got a two count as Bubba Ray broke it up. All six men then got in the ring and the referee lost control of the match until Kidman and London knocked both of the Dudleys out of the ring. Paul London then went off the ropes as Billy Kidman ducked down and Paul London jumped off of Kidman's back with a suicide hilo onto Bubba Ray.

Billy Kidman held onto Spike and Rey charged at Spike with a clothesline to send him down to the mat and then Billy Kidman gave him a slingshot into the ropes and then Rey Mysterio hit the 619 and then Kidman hit the shooting star press to pin Spike for a two count as D-Von made the save.

    The finish:

The action then spilled to the outside of the ring and Paul London got laid out with a belt shot to the head and then the Dudleys got back in the ring with Billy Kidman and planted him with the 3D. Spike Dudley then got in the ring and covered Billy Kidman for the three count to pick up the win.

Till Death Do Us Part Match
    Referee: Michael Chioda
    Matt Hardy vs. Kane

Lita's music hit in the arena and she made her way out to the ring and she looked to be showing a little bit, as said by Jerry Lawler and then Matt Hardy made his way out and this is a one on one match with Matt Hardy facing Kane in this "Till Death Do Us Part" Match. If Kane wins this match, he will marry Lita but if Matt Hardy wins, Kane will leave Matt and Lita alone and they can wed if they wish.

    The start:

As Kane got in the ring, Matt Hardy nailed him and then slammed him into the corner and hammered away on him. Kane whipped Matt to the other side of the ring and charged at him but Matt kicked Kane in the face. Matt then hopped to the second rope and gave Kane a side effect by jumping off the second rope.

    Mid-match notes:

Matt Hardy gave Kane the twist of fate on the outside of the ring and then he got back in the ring and told the referee to start the ten count and if Kane gets counted out, Matt Hardy is the winner of the match. Referee Mike Chioda started his count and Kane sat up at the count of six and then he slowly got up and got back in the ring at the count of nine. As Kane rolled into the ring, Matt stomped away on him and then Lita went over and grabbed the ring bell and set it on the ring apron for Matt. Lita then went over and distracted the referee, giving Matt Hardy the opportunity to clock Kane with the ring bell. Matt then covered Kane but only got a two count as Kane put his foot on the middle rope to break the pin.

Matt Hardy headed to the top rope and jumped off at Kane but Kane caught him by the throat. Matt fought out of the choke slam predicament and then he went for the twist of fate but Kane shoved Matt into the ropes and then knocked Matt down with a big boot. Kane then headed to the top rope and Matt got up and knocked Kane down to straddle the top rope.

    The finish:

Matt laid into Kane with a number of hard right hands and then he climbed up and went for a super DDT but Kane grabbed Matt by the throat and gave him the biggest choke slam (in the ring) in the history of Summer Slam from the second rope! Kane then pinned Matt Hardy for the three count to pick up the win!

    Winner - Kane

    The Aftermath:

Lita looked disappointed from the outside of the ring and she nodded in disapproval as she walked away from the ring and Kane had a huge smile on his face as Lita was almost in tears. Kane got out of the ring and walked down the aisle with his arms open for Lita but Lita took a look at him and ran to the back.

    Backstage:

Todd Grisham was shown with Randy Orton and Todd spoke about what just happened and he said that Lita has got to be upset. Randy said upset? Why would anyone be upset? Tonight is a night for celebration. Summer Slam 2004 is going to go down in history because one of the most talented, charismatic and best looking WWE Superstars is going to ascend to greatness tonight. Tonight will be... John Cena was seen standing by and he said that tonight will be the night that the Franchise opens shop on Booker T's ass. John told Randy that he's going to look nice and he's a fan of his too and he knows he has fans out there but let's see how many fans he has out there. John asked the fans if they like Randy Orton and the fans booed. John then asked the crowd if Randy Orton is going to beat Chris Benoit for the World Championship? The crowd booed and John said "welp, at least you have the people behind you. Hah." Randy then said that he doesn't care what a bunch of ass backward Canadians think and he doesn't care what John Cena thinks. Quite frankly, it's a bit pathetic that John Cena had to interrupt Randy's interview to get some airtime. None the less, tonight, Randy Orton is going to leave Toronto as the youngest World Heavyweight Champion... ever.

    Backstage:

Theodore Long was shown backstage and he was proud of the Best of 5 Series. Someone entered the room and it was RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff. Theodore asked Eric what he can do for him? Eric said that he thought he'd stop by and congratulate him. His new position as General Manager, Eric is very proud of him. It seems like every time we have one of these RAW/Smackdown! joint pay per views, he's dealing with another General Manager of Smackdown!. What is he now, number four? There was Stephanie McMahon, Paul Heyman, Kurt Angle and now him. Eric said he wanted to give him some advice; learn as much as he can and enjoy it as long as he can because at the rate we are going, by the time Survivor Series rolls around, let's just say he doubts Theodore will be around. Don't take it personally, it's just reality. Theodore said that he can appreciate that, just like Eric can appreciate this. Tonight, Theodore doesn't know whether his nephew Eugene will beat Triple H or not or if Eric will succeed in getting rid of him but if he ever does, then Theodore has no problem signing Eugene to Smackdown! and making him the biggest Superstar ever. That not only goes for Eugene but that goes for every Superstar on RAW that are sick of Eric Bischoff and they want out. Now that's nothing personal, that's just reality. You feel me? Theodore then told Eric that he betta 'holla, holla, holla!'

It is all up to the referee and no arguing. Coach said that one of the RAW Divas has already been eliminated; they don't want to make it two nights in a row, do they? The RAW Divas won the match with only one of the girls getting eliminated. After the match, Trish argued with referee Earl Hebner over Gail Kim's elimination. The WWE Divas then got in an argument and a little bit of a brawl over their loss.
