Mick Foley Comments On Backstage Incident With Flair, Rock Note, HHH/Orton
The Rock will have a busy schedule from Febuary as he will begin promoting “Be Cool”. He plays the role of a Samoan guy in the film.
In a recent interview with Between the Ropes, Mick Foley touched on the backstage incident he had with Ric Flair last month. He said that it was a case of Flair reacting to feeling he had been disrespected. He said if a camera was present and caught the promo Flair cut on him, it would be enough to sell the match as the main event of the next three WrestleManias. “The only thing missing were the ‘whoos!’” he said. He went on to say that Flair did take a swing at him, but it wasn’t Flair’s “best shot”.
The line-up for the Feb. 25 Raw house show in New York City at MSG features: Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Batista, Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels, Chris Benoit vs. Edge, Gene Snitsky vs. Kane, La Resistance vs. Rhyno & Tajiri, Trish Stratus vs. Victoria, Shelton Benjamin vs. Christian, Val Venis vs. Chris Masters, plus Superstar Graham, Coach, Christy Hemme will also be there.
