Brock Lesnar has filed suit against WWE, claiming his no-compete clause that took effect upon leaving WWE is preventing him from earning a living. After being released from the Vikings practice squad, Brock Lesnar had approached WWE about possibly making a return. However, he had been making ridiculous demands, and therefore WWE did not want to sign him back.
It has now come to light that the no-compete clause he signed does not expire until 2010, and includes the entire world as WWE is a global company. This means that Brock Lesnar is essentialy "locked out" of wrestling for the next 5 years, pending the result of this lawsuit.
