  • Brock Lesnar Files Lawsuit Against WWE

Brock Lesnar has filed suit against WWE, claiming his no-compete clause that took effect upon leaving WWE is preventing him from earning a living. After being released from the Vikings practice squad, Brock Lesnar had approached WWE about possibly making a return. However, he had been making ridiculous demands, and therefore WWE did not want to sign him back.

It has now come to light that the no-compete clause he signed does not expire until 2010, and includes the entire world as WWE is a global company. This means that Brock Lesnar is essentialy "locked out" of wrestling for the next 5 years, pending the result of this lawsuit.

I thought that this was a guy who really didn't like pro wrestling anyway;I guess he decided that he likes the $ from it, tho...you gotta wonder what idiot talked him into thinking that he could make it as a pro football player (Sable) when he didn't even play the game in college. If he didn't blow all his money on stupid stuff when he was working WWE he would have lots still... and he did sign the contract, he must have known what it meant when he left. Talk about supreme arrogance assuming that he would make it as a pro football player, and make good bank at it, too! I hope that Vince never takes him back!
