Shane Douglas is organising an ‘ECW Reunion’ show. However, the date has been rescheduled for Friday 6/10 at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, PA. The show will have a 9 PM bell time, as the show will feature “adult content.”
Douglas has been sending out contracts to a number of former ECW stars, with plans to reunite as many of the performers of the 1994-1997 “glory years” of the company including Sabu, Raven, and the Sandman. Tod Gordon is also involved with the event, while TNA’s Jeremy Borash is involved on the production side.
The show was originally set for Saturday 6/11, but Combat Zone Wrestling declined giving over the date. CZW cited that the change would hurt their currently planned storyline building into June. There was consideration to running 6/11 at the Asbury Park Convention Center in New Jersey (site of several ECW PPVs), but the decision was made to run Friday 6/10 instead.
