Another Ric Flair DVD could potentially be in the works. WWE are currently in negotiations with Kevin Von Erich over the purchase of the WCCW wrestling library. The library contains footage of several classic Flair matches. With the exception of Flair, none of WWE's current top name wrestlers have even wrestled there.
Matt Hardy's recent WWE return has been the subject of a lot of talk backstage. One wrestler was quoted saying, "That's the typical Vince McMahon. He'll tell you,''My mistake' and talk you into coming back, then as soon as you sign, it's like, ''F-- you, I own you for two years' and he makes you miserable." Another wrestler added, "Hardy has too many enemies in power who have to be proven right about the decision to fire him in the first place. He has no chance."
Despite all the buzz surrounding Matt Hardy's recent return to the company, WWE officials still hold him in the same regard as they did last year. Hardy is still seen as a mid-carder who could potentially move up the ranks given time. One source backstage was quoted saying, "He may move up to the next level, but not if he cuts too many promos like that first one."
