WWE officials have indeed been noticing John Cena’s souring reactions, although it is not known if there are any immediate plan changes forthcoming. Cena’s ability to get over on SmackDown! (and his early weeks on RAW) led WWE to express confidence in featuring Cena as an on-air champion. In losing the crowd, however, he is certainly shaking some of that confidence.
Unless WWE has some bizarre angle planned, one would think that Kane and Big Show’s title win implies that Kane’s back injury will not force him to miss time.
WWE generally got the outcomes it wanted from the fans last night, although the fact that Kane got 38% says a lot considering the clear favoritism the company gave Shawn Michaels.
